Northumberland Public Library will now have a NPL News Group
For ages 12-18, no prior experience needed! The group will meet every 4th Friday of the month except days when schools are closed, from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Snacks will be provided!
NPL Broadcasting Episode 1
This group of teens accepted the challenge to produce a breaking news broadcast.
Northumberland Public Library was happy to host a teen night where a group of teens learned what it takes to produce a newscast. They learned about Producers, Anchorpersons, Reporters, Writers, Green-screens, Camera Work, Tech Controls and the news lingo.
Then they went to work to produce their own broadcast.
